Points act as a wand, directing energy outward from the tip for manifestation, or inward to charge a person or space with energy. They are considered strong, natural amplifiers, enhancing the inherent metaphysical properties of the stone type. Meditators often use points to focus on specific intentions, which the crystal helps to record and emanate, acting like a cosmic tuning fork for goals.  They can be used to cleanse a room of negative energy, or to point away from the body to remove negative energy or pain. Points are essential for creating crystal grids, where points act as the center to channel energy between stones. 

Single-terminated points typically have one natural point and a rough base; ideal for directing energy in one direction. A double-terminated will have points on both ends; excellent for balancing and flowing the energy between two points, or creating a bridge between chakras. A Generator or Standing Point is a polished or natural point that can stand on its own, designed to generate and radiate energy constantly, typically used in grids and generator gardens.
